01

A distinct program

AERION studies vehicle-level mobility, flight and high-speed operation. It is distinct from AEVION, the intelligence architecture, and from VANTARA, the personal suit ASSET. No speed, range, payload or flight demonstration is established.

02

Control and recovery

The intended recovery work covers rotational divergence, physiological loss of consciousness, kinematic boundaries and perception disagreement. Dedicated flight-control and protection functions need independent evidence; conversational reasoning cannot replace them.

03

Thermal and energy envelopes

Structure, electronics, batteries and human contact surfaces need separate operating and survival envelopes. A maneuver must afford its worst-case transition and safe retreat. Neither a low temperature reading nor a total battery percentage proves the entire path feasible.

04

Relationship to space research

Possible interfaces with HALO, OPHAN and later service infrastructure remain research. An orbital launch, rendezvous or carrier role for AERION has not been established, and a terrestrial prototype would not demonstrate spaceflight qualification.
